Who We Are

Commonwealth Positivity is a not-for-profit organisation committed to supporting British, Canadian, Australian, and New Zealand charities that deliver vital projects within economically developing countries across the Commonwealth of Nations. We also support the growth of cultural understanding between the peoples of the Commonwealth, and we assist pan-Commonwealth non-government organisations (NGOs) dedicated to international development and cooperation.

The Commonwealth is a unique, voluntary association of 56 countries, representing 2.4 billion people across every continent. It is administered by the Commonwealth Secretary-General and the Commonwealth Secretariat, under the non-political leadership of His Majesty King Charles III, who serves as Head of the Commonwealth. Together, these nations work in partnership to uphold shared values and promote mutual progress.

Our mission, grounded in the ideals of the Commonwealth, is delivered through a range of engagement programmes that aim to inform, inspire, and empower. Whether through charitable support, cultural events, or educational outreach, every initiative we lead is rooted in our commitment to building stronger connections across the Commonwealth.

Founded in 2016, Commonwealth Positivity has remained dedicated to advancing philanthropic projects and partnerships that benefit communities across the Commonwealth. As a non-profit organisation, every penny we receive is reinvested directly into fulfilling our charitable mission and expanding the impact of the organisations we support.

Our philanthropic work is made possible through a blend of generous contributions and strategic partnerships. Core funding is provided annually by the Devonshire Wessex Group, which enables the stability and growth of our programmes. Additional support comes from sponsorships and ticket sales from our in-person and online events, as well as corporate sponsorship of our dedicated platform Commonwealth Portal.

Together, these funding streams allow Commonwealth Positivity to continue championing the extraordinary work of charities operating within the Commonwealth, while creating opportunities for cultural exchange, collaboration, and meaningful development.
